What is the role of a “proctor” during the exam?

Proctors are required for all EC-Council exams. These proctors are trained representatives authorized by EC-Council to help administer tests and report any incidents or events recorded during test sessions. The proctors are governed by the proctor agreement and are committed to ensuring that the test experience is fair and valid for all test takers.

Note:

1. Candidates cannot attempt the test without a proctor.
2. The proctor has to be able to view the exam and the candidate while the candidate completes the test, or else the exam result will not be valid, and the test will have to be rescheduled.
3. Feedback from the proctor will be considered for all contested exam results.
